The war guilt clause forced Germany to take all the blame for World War I.
The Treaty of Versailles was the main peace settlement after World War One. The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to take the full blame of starting the war, and they had to pay the costs of the war, which included factories, bridges, and ammunition. This added to about $33 billion US.Needless to say, this caused Germany to go deep into debt, and Germany was crippled.
Abraham Lincoln placed blame for the Civil War squarely on the seceded Southern States. He viewed the secession as an act of treason, which justified the start of the Civil War.
During the formal negotiations that followed World War I, as the contending nations both victorious and defeated worked out a final peace treaty, Great Britain's fundamental position was that Germany was responsible for the outbreak of World War I. Despite this general position, Britain's view of reparations (and other punishments) was more lenient than that of France, her ally during the war.
WW1 was effected by fighting at sea because of the u-boats that they where using at sea. The lustinana got hit and sunk by the Germans. So that made the u.s very mad and joined the war. Great Britain and France and very more are againts Germany and think that Germany should take the blame for the war.

The US didn't, the Entente had blamed Kaiser Wilhelm II for the Great War.
Northern aggression started it.
It depends on which war. If you are asking about World War 1, I would say no. I think Austria-Hungary should get most of the blame. In World War 2, I would say Germany was to blame, but I will also add that other countries were headed for war anyway regardless of anything that Germany did.
Yes because Germany invaded Poland and Hitler committed suicide so yes they should blame Germany No, no, no. You can not blame a whole country for one mans mistakes. That's what Hitler did to the Jews, and that's what you're doing to the Germans. If you want someone to blame, blame Adolf Hitler. Blame Joseph Goebbels. Blame Hermann Goering. But not Germany.
Germany
After World War I, Germany was forced to take the blame for the war and was then forced to pay reparations to the Allies.
