Countries do accept mail from other countries with foreign postage. In fact, it is the standard practice. If you go to a US Post Office to mail a letter or package to Another Country, then you will pay in US currency for US postage what the US Post Office charges to send it overseas. Likewise people in other countries pay in their local currency for their national postage to mail things to the US.
fought for there country but didnt know if they was going to die if the other alliace had attacked first
Alot, but it didnt matter, because at the time German was in control by russia and America. and Germany's economy was beyond any other country.
The value of these stamps is usually $6.00 per stamp. Scott specialized catalogue I have a complete booklet of stamps, 50, mounted as purchased in 1943, with my signature and other descriptions and details on the covers. Does this make the booklet and stamps more valuable? What would be the best way to sell it, if I choose to, by auction or which method?
letters home were altered as they didnt want families at home to be discouraged or worried about the soldiers and they were still in need of recruits and so they didnt want other men not to join the army because of what they had read.
the british didnt have an choice other than to grant indias wish for freedom.
The country of origin.
" Except" means 'other than' . I believe you mean 'accept' which means " to agree to take"
they didnt they bombed them
The United Kingdom was the first country to issue postage stamps. Since no other country issued stamps at the time, there was no need for the UK to name itself. The UK continues to issue stamps without a country name. But every stamp of Great Britain includes at least a profile of the current ruler, currently Queen Elizabeth II.
That is what stamps are for, to pay postage. In the US you buy postage stamps and put them on mail to any other country in the world.
You must use English/British stamps if you are posting from England or other parts of Britain
becuase they didnt want one country to get that powerful
I can go to my local post office! They sell Thai postage stamps. They don't sell US stamps. I think you're a little confused - you can buy stamps wherever you live to send things to any part of the world. You don't need to use British stamps to send a letter to England. You can buy other kinds of stamps from other countries, you would have to find someone that can import them. You should try finding Stamp Collectors and such. There are also commercial websites.
NO, costcos does not accept food stamps. Sam's club, and other smaller food stores to though.
I don't know what a "WaWa" is, but let's just assume it's a supermarket or other sort of business that carries items that would ordinarily be eligible for SNAP (basically, food that's not ready to eat). Not only do not all businesses that sell food have to accept food stamps, not all businesses that sell food are able to accept food stamps. Businesses must apply to the government for the right to participate in the program. Most of them do, because otherwise they're basically telling potential customers "We don't want money, go shop somewhere else", which is not a very sound business plan.Update: I've found there's a chain of convenience stores called "Wawa's" in the northeastern US. A lot of what convenience stores sell isn't eligible for food stamps; for a convenience store, it may be simpler just to not accept food stamps than to have your staff constantly telling people that yes, they accept food stamps, but no, they don't accept them for that burrito the customer just microwaved, because they can't legally do so.
No. The International Postal Union regulates the exchange of mail. The postage is collected and affixed at the post office of origin and no stamps of any other country are required.
those stamps are forever stamps they will always coast the same as other stamps
