The Anasazi lived in a couple of different types of houses or dwellings. they mostly lived in pueblos, houses made of mud and sand that were built right next to each other so they stayed cool in the summer and warm in the winter, but also made tipi's which helped when they were on the move. With tipi's, you could fold them up and set them back up again when you were ready and they were lightweight. They were usually 8 ft. wide and up to 13 ft. tall with holes at the top for smoke to rise out.
