No. People keep advertising these older Tasco Scopes having a lifetime warranty and it is FALSE. These older scope warranties are not honored by Tasco since the company changed hands. Your scope must be a newer model to be covered!

A LOT of the ones I've seen recently appear to be Simmons , judging by the trim on the Adjustable Objective and the elevation/windage knobs... I don't know what kind of warranty they carry but generally speaking they aren't holding up as well as the Simmons do. It's all in the quality control and how good they must be to please the customer (In this case Dick's)
Although Scopes lost his case, the media circus surrounding the whole affair was so humiliating to the Creationists, that they all crawled back under their rocks, and did not dare to expose themselves to the light of day until the Regan years.
He was a goofy goober and he done acting and he worked at Hazel Green High School
I'm still researching all this myself but look up social policies of the republican government (eg. the scopes 'monkey' trial, prohibition and the KKK) and economic policies (such as laissez faire, tariffs and unions) and then look at the impact it had on groups like women, farmers, African Americans and immigrants. hope that helps :3
Sidney Poitier is the first black man to received an Academy Award for best actor in 1963. His meritorious contributions has earned him the Presidential Medal of freedom which is the United States' highest civilian honor. Also, his lifetime achievement in the theater, politics and philanthropy has earned him the respect among all races and cultures. Therefore, I find that Sidney Poitier is important to black history's month.
