Eight children were killed in the 9/11 attacks. All were passengers on the hijacked planes (none were known to have died in the buildings- there was a daycare center in one of the twin towers but it was on a lower floor so all of the children were evacuated safely). According to all of the memorials and lists of victims, these are the children who lost their lives that day:

American Airlines Flight 77 (hit the Pentagon):

Asia Cottom, 11, Washington, DC

Bernard Curtis Brown II, 11, Washington, DC

Rodney Dickens, 11, Washington, DC

Zoe Falkenberg, 8, University Park, MD

Dana Falkenberg, 3, University Park, MD

United Airlines Flight 175 (hit the south tower):

Juliana Valentine McCourt, 4, New London, CT

David Reed Gamboa-Brandhorst, 3, Los Angeles, CA

Christine Lee Hanson, 2, Groton, MA

there were 5 children on Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon, and there were 3 children on Flight 175 that hit the south tower, so sadly children were involved and died in an evil plot.
