well, in 1909 American men were either (if they were old) were short and fat with a moustache, that was the typical old guy look. but young men had longer hair (so no buzz cuts..haha) slicked back with brown hair ranging from light brown to almost black, you would never see anyone with black hair or blonde, that was rare.
