The Creek "Indians" primarily used an Antler Tomahawk. These were made from the remaining parts from their hunting trips, such as the animals antlers for the blade part, and leather tad bits for the handle wrapping. They also used many varieties of bows and arrows.

The penobscot indians and other local tribes used tomahawks and root ball clubs to fight with. Also jawbone instruments. What made the penobscot indians differ was the design of a double bow....it allowed for more force on the return weight for the arrow with less draw effort.
