What problems native americans faced when the missions closed down?
it closed because of secularization
The Mission was founded on June 24, 1797 by the Spanish. It was closed in the secularization by the Mexican government. It was being built from 1803-17. The Native labor was mostly forced. We would call it slave labor today the Spanish called it repartimiento or encomienda. The stated purpose of the Missions was totally assimilating indigenous populations into European culture and the Catholic religion. If you believe that was a good idea then it was partly successful. If you think it was a bad idea it was terrible. To the padres, a baptized Indian person was no longer free to move about the country, but had to labor and worship at the mission under the strict observance of the fathers and overseers, who herded them to daily masses and labors. If an Indian did not report for their duties for a period of a few days, they were searched for, and if it was discovered that they had left without permission, they were considered runaways. The were basically prisoners. Young native women were required to reside in the monjerío (or "nunnery") under the supervision of a trusted Indian matron who bore the responsibility for their welfare and education. Women only left the convent after they had been "won" by an Indian suitor and were deemed ready for marriage. Following Spanish custom, courtship took place on either side of a barred window. After the marriage ceremony the woman moved out of the mission compound and into one of the family huts. Indians were not paid wages as they were not considered free laborers and, as a result, the missions were able to profit from the goods produced by the Mission Indians. They worked 6 hour days, everyday except for 90 days that were feast days. The herds of horses and cows took a heavy toll for the California Native American people. The uncontrolled spread of the herds, and associated invasive exotic plant species, quickly exhausted the native plants in the grasslands and the chaparral and woodlands that the Indians depended on for their seed, foliage, and bulb harvests.European diseases were especially well transmitted at locations like the Missions were people lived close together in poor conditions. For example, the worst epidemic of the Spanish Era in California was the measles epidemic of 1806, when one-quarter of the mission Native American population of the San Francisco Bay area died of the measles. That spread to other Missions like San Juan Bautista. So many died at times that many of the Indian residents of the missions urged the fathers to raid new villages to supply them with more women. As of December 31, 1832 (the peak of the mission system's development) the mission padres had performed a combined total of 87,787 baptisms and 24,529 marriages, and recorded 63,789 deaths. The population of Native is thought to have been about 300,000 ( maybe as high as 705,000) at the start of the Missions and approximately 80,000 at the time of the secularization.

What problems native americans faced when the missions closed down?
Spain closed most of its missions in Texas. It had neither the wealth nor the power to defend its missions.
It will be because you haven't completed enough missions yet. After the mission 'blow your cover' has been completed(about 30 missions in)all bridges leading to algonquin(including broker bridge) will open up.
it closed because of secularization
Spain built all 21 missions in California but after the 11 year war all 21 missions doors were closed
