This information is... stupid. What happened was Elizabeth was one of the first African American students to attend Little Rock Central High School. She was greeted by angry White students who abused her and yelled racial comments at her. The following day, President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent U.S. Army troops to accompany the students to school for protection. The troops were stationed at the school for the entirety of the school year.
They were the first African Americans to enroll as students in the Little Rock Central High School which had been an all-white school. The year was 1957. There was much protest against this integration which was forced by a Supreme Court decision.
Little Rock is in Arkansas.

Elizabeth Eckford never married. She does have two sons, one of which was killed in a standoff with the police. Eckford was a member of the Little Rock Nine.

Yes, seven of the nine did meet the president and attended his first inauguration. Two, Melba Beals and Elizabeth Eckford, were unable to attend due to illness.
They were called the Little Rock Nine because there were nine young black students, led by Elizabeth Eckford and Ernest Green, who were the first to integrate Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. They endured racist taunts, death threats, insults, and anger just for the right to attend their local high school.
