You are clearly looking for the simplistic answer: tipi, tepee or teepee. None of these is an accurate answer, however.
The Lakota word tipi means "they dwell" and is notthe name of the buffalo-hide lodge used by that portion of the Sioux - it is simply a word incorrectly applied historically by ignorant white people. The Lakotas called their homes by several names:
