The British and the Americans came together on Chirstmas eve, Germany, in 1814 and both the British and the Americans signed the Treaty of Ghent. A peace and Amity contract. But the general was not in Germany at the time so the war offically ended on Mrach 23, 1815.

The last battle of the war, however, actually happened after the war was over, because news of its ending had not yet arrived. This was the Battle of New Orleans, which took place on January 8, 1815. This was a resounding victory for the Americans.
