an Indian stone ax is a stone that has one long lip in it for the wood piece to go on the ax its self
The Native Americans tried to defend their territory, but were not strong enough to protect themselves and their homes. They were either killed during the Indian Wars or moved to Indian Reservations. Even today many Native Americans still live on these Indian Reservations. The movement West displaced many Native Americans from their native homes. They were moved to Reservations that were often a long way from their native land. Not long after Congress herded the Native Americans onto Reservations, Congress enacted The Dawes Severalty Act (February 8, 1887) that deprived them of their legal status.

Help them with what? Native Americans get paid by the feds for doing no work at all as compensation for what settlers did to them during colonization. They get free higher education, a stipend which is I think 2,000 USD a month. There are some natives who actually make a million a year from the state and feds.

It would first depend on the child's father, was he Indian and if so how much? If his father was not Indian that the child would be considered 50% by the governments standards. Some tribes go by percentages to be a tribal member while other tribes go by rolls, the government has a strange way of assuming the person on the original roll is 100% if they could even sign their name the descendants might not be considered Indian by the tribe even if they are 100%. DNA testing is a scientific way to determine Indian heritage but is frowned upon by most Native Americans. By my account a illegitimate child of a full blooded Native American women would be just as much Indian than most Indians currently in tribes.David, Member of The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi
