Prophetstown was indeed the capital of a confederation of Native American nations formed in the early 19th century, primarily under the leadership of Tecumseh and his brother, Tenskwatawa (the Prophet). Located near the confluence of the Tippecanoe and Wabash Rivers in present-day Indiana, it served as a center for Native American resistance against U.S. expansion.
