One historic event that happened in Argentina was the Falkland War. This war was between the U.K. and Argentina. On April 2, 1982 Argentina attacked the Falklands (islands off Argentinas Atlantic coast) and occupied it. Then the U.K. sent a naval task force. Eventually U.K. won on June 14.
