they had the most well- army navy

British had more wepans and ships than Continental Armys.

Many pros in India were...

  • Many Indians were now able to trade goods. Opening up a lot of potential careers and wealth.
  • English brought new technology to India.
  • British constructed new railways, high ways and phone facilities.
  • In World War 2 the Indians provided valuable military help.
  • British introduced parliament to India.
  • British introduced English to Indian. English is still spoken frequently in India today.
  • We got tea and they got cricket. Other things include, Indian take away which is now a very popular meal in Britain.
  • Britain grew exceedingly richer due to cheap trade with India.

But Brits treated Indians badly and also played a part in the slave trade.
