This is correct, but they were very strict, no talking and you got the cane across your hands or rear, if you went out of line

im not 100% sure but i think that we were told that there were about 5 or 6 rows of wooden desks and chairs which faced a blackboard at the front. the teacher had his/her own desk which was taller than the ones the students sat at. each child would have their own A5 notebook and also a blackboard and chalk to write answers on.

One of the ways that the school was like in victoran times is that each person had to bring their own things for school and women were not allowed to teach and learn.

Teachers were really horrible and nasty in them days.

Children were hit with a stick, and hurt when ever they did something wrong!

Even when they got the answer Wrong!!
