There was no WHITE WOLF army in China, however, WHITE WOLF pronounces as Bailang in Chinese, and there really was a rebel Bai Lang who led an army against the government. Bai Lang (b. 1873 - d. 1914), was born in Baofeng County, (Pingdingshan City), central Henan Province. He was a peasant. From October 1911 he started to organize attacks against local government. After the Republic of China was founded, he collaborated with other armed forces around Henan, and controlled most part of that province. In June 1913, Having defeated the government forces led by Wang Zhanyuan (Military governor of Hubei) as well as Duan Zhigui (a high rank general), he occupied Sui Xian, Hubei Province (now Suizhou City, an important city located in northern Hubei province), On 26 January 1914, his forces occupied Lu'an City, Anhui province, which is one of the most important cities in the west part of the province. In February, Bai Lang led his army all the way to Laohekou, Hubei province, commercial center of the northern part of Hubei, an took it, killing around to thousand government soldiers. He also took some counties in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, while significantly losing forces. He was surrounded by the government army and was killed in his hometown in August, 1914
