The Compromise of 1850 required that all northern states turn over slaves that escape the south to these territories. The Compromise of 1850 ended when the north refused to follow these stipulations.

-We never needed to have slaves because the only work in the north is business

and many slaves did not get education.

-It was doomed to fail There are always going to be issues with slavery no matter how proper the compr

-It was also doomed to fail because America is always going to expand and there will always be issues with rather or not that state will be a slavery state or a free state.

-THe reason the south had slavery was from all the jobs from with they needed slaved to work at those jobs.

-Maybe a flaw could be that even if north and the south felt pleased,thousands of people were still enslaved in Texas

-Did not resolved slavery in any way

-In a way helped pave the road to slavery

In my view: the pro-slavery interests predicted that "free" States would eventually outnumber "slave" States; the anti-slavery interests predicted that the Supreme Court's decision in Dred Scott would make it impossible to maintain any "free" states.

The so-called Compromise of 1877 failed in several ways. Part of the arrangement was that Northern troops would be withdrawn from the South. That never happened, they never left the South and were confined to their quarters. That new investments by the North in the Southern economy also was never realized.
