Catherine of Aragon was the first wife of Henry VIII ( who tried to have as many spouses as his name, but only managed 6) - and she died of natural causes. a daughter of the union became Mary I or Mary Tudor-a.k.a. Bloody Mary- imagine having a nice Spanish Princess for a mother and a sex maniac for a daddy! small wonder Mary got out of hand. It is often forgotten- but it is in her last name- that Catherine of Aragon was a Spanish lady! Maybe they should have had Raquel Welch play her in the late-sixties miniseries about Henry VIII. Anyhow she died of natural causes.
