Nicolae Sfetcu (born July 19, 1957 in Poaiana Mare, Dolj, Romania) is a Romanian engineer, author of many IT articles, books and e-books, guides and translations. Electrotechnical High school, Craiova, Dolj (awards at the National Olympiad for Romanian Language and National Olympiad for Physics, member of the sci-fi club "Henry Coanda" - Craiova, member of the first Romanian Inventic Club - Craiova, Romania). Bucharest University, Physics Department, licensed as engineer in nuclear physics. Training for a doctor degree, with the theme "Methods of development of the services and interfacing between internet - Intranet and public communications networks" (Polytechnic University, Bucharest, Department of Electronics and Telecommunications). He started the work with Heavy Water Plant "ROMAG PROD" Drobeta Turnu Severin between 1983 and 1993 (Quality Assurance Manager). Between 1993 and 2001 he worked as officer at Romanian Intelligence Service.
