William Henry Harrison spent about a year as a student at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in Philadelphia. Unfortunatly, his father died and he ran out of money. He gave up aspirations of becoming a doctor and joined the army.

WH Harrison. In 1791 Harrison enrolled in the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania, but left to fight Indians halfway through the course.
