A lot of times the greek gods weren't friends because they often acted like children.(No offence greek gods and children!) Take Ares, Aphrodite, and Hepheastus, for example: Ares loved Aphrodite, but Aphrodite was married to Hepheastus, but still visited (Basically dated) Ares. Then one day Hepgeastus saw/heard about this and made a tpap. (he was the god of blacksmiths and crafting) He built a golden net with magical powers to hold the most powerful of creatures, and threw it on the love couple when they were at their favorite spot, then he invited the other gods to laugh at them, which they were so very happy to do. Now, do you see what I mean?
