That painter is Edmund Blouin. He lived in Metarie LA and was part of the Jackson Square Artist Guild. He died in the late 1990's and was my father-in-law.

-----------------

Edmund Blouin painted in the French Quarter of New Orleans from the 1960's until late 1990's. He lived in Metarie when he passed away in 2003.

He painted primarily in oil with a palette knife. He did alot of southern culture type scenes.

His oldest son inherited his love of painting and has a very similar style to his father.

A family member would be able to answer specific questions about him and his paintings. We are more than happy to answer all questions and may be reached at misswaveland@Yahoo.com
