Are you talking about Britain? Apples, basically. They would also have harvested wild fruits such as berries of all kinds (not strawberries). In warmer parts of Europe they would have had more choice, e.g. plums and quinces. Hope this helps!

Bread. Most people during this time were very poor by our standards, and couldn't afford meat or vegetables unless they could grow them. They had entire meals of just bread when they ran out of other foods. Throughout history, bread has been a staple food for poor people.
