Many people belonged to underground armys that would attack the Nazi's such as the Dutch Freedom Fighters or the French Underground. Other ways were by hiding friends in houses. Anne Frank lived as long as she did because of people who worked for her father. Other ways were taking children in. Many people would take Jewish children into their homes and pretend that it was their child.
