There were at least two battalions of the 101st Abn (Ambl) Div taking that hill. Each Bn consisted of about 600 men. You'll need to ID those BNs (the 1/187th Infantry was one of them), then hit the 1/187th Infantry Association website which might list their names. That would be well over 1200 names, as less than 200 died there. Generally those associations don't list the names of survivors...only the fallen.
The survivors of "Hamburger Hill", would be the men of the 3/187th, 1/506th, 2/506th, and the 2/501st battalions of the 101st Airborne (Airmobile) Divison. With probably the least amount of survivors coming from the 3rd Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment; as they sustained the most casualties.
The men of the 101st Abn (Ambl) Div. took Hamburger Hill in May 1969. The 173rd Abn fought at Dak To in November 1967.

Men looked like hamburger meat once they'd been impacted by high velocity projectiles (bullets and shrapnel, and concussion). Do NOT believe in television or any other action packed movie filmed in the 21st century (and a lot of 20th century films). Human bodies look like road kills on modern battlefields. In movies, especially COP SHOWS, every "body" looks like the person is just laying down (which they are) or sleeping (which they might be). That's NOT the way they look in real life. The number one greatest fear of the average GI in Vietnam was not dying! It was looking like "THAT" (a road kill)! There was a saying in Vietnam (one of many), "Live fast, die young, and be a BEAUTIFUL CORPSE!"
My Grandpa is one of them. Robert Eugene Chambliss. He is now deceased but survived Pork Chop Hill. That is one survivor anyways! Good luck with the rest. Oh yeah..my Grandpa is in a book called Pork Chop Hill and in that book should be some of the survivors, if not all of them. my da was also one of them he was in the medical corps. his name was PFC. Richard Nerbonne he passed away on April 15th of last year he was awarded the purple heart and two bronze stars in that battle !
