Their driver made a wrong turn along the way however, leading the (open top!) carriage down a side road that unfortunately had Gavrilo walking down after buying his sandwich. When he saw them coming Gavrilo snatched the opportunity and reached for his gun........leading to him shooting two bullets (both aimed at the Archduke) but with a bonus one hit him yes but one also hit his wife.
