TET is normally celebrated around the first month of the new year. As far as the Vietnam War is concerned, there was only one memorable TET celebration by the Vietnamese, and that was in 1968.
Conventional warfare; US Jets bombing North Vietnam (ARC LIGHT, ROLLING THUNDER, LINEBACKER, LINEBACKER II, etc.), US Jets bombing in South Vietnam in support of allied troops; US Navy Riverine Forces engaging in firefights in the countless river systems of the South with their Swift Boats, PBR's, Alpha Boats, Monitors, etc.; US Marines and US Army Armor (tanks), Armored Cavalry, Mechanized Infantry, Airmobile Infantry, and Regular Straight Leg Infantry (Light Infantry), conducting sweeps, search and destroy missions, RIF's (Reconnaissance In Force), ambushes, mine sweeps, firefights (Contacts), etc. Australian, New Zealander, South Koreans, Philippine, Thailand, and South Vietnamese Government Forces were doing the same thing at the same time; with the exception of bombing North Vietnam with aircraft; that was almost strictly a US function.
On 5 November 1965 the 173rd Airborne Brigade initiated "Operation Hump", a reconnaissance in force in an area about 15 miles north of Bien Hoa. The 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, deployed south of the Dong Nai River while the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry, conducted a helicopter assault on a LZ northwest of theDong Nai and Song Be Rivers.

The Vietnam War officially ended in April 1975 during the Fall of Saigon. The United States withdrew in 1973, therefore leaving the South Vietnamese Army to defend the country by themselves. North Vietnam had agreed to a cease fire in 1973, and the US had to withdraw under the agreement. By late 1973, North Vietnam broke this agreement and went on to capture most of South Vietnam. In April 1975, the government of South Vietnam resigned and the NVA took control of Saigon, before the communists took control, there was a massive helicopter evacuation of Saigon.

The first US draft was during the US Civil War (1861-1865); the last US draft was during the Vietnam War (1961-1975).
American involvement began in 1955. The first combat troops arrived in 1965, and we fought the war until January 1973.

The US committed regular forces to the Vietnam War during those years, but the US was involved in the war much earlier than 1965, and the war did not end until the fall of Saigon in 1975.

US POWs still surviving in North Vietnam were released to the US in 1973; the vast majority of them were US Airmen who had been shot down during the air war over North Vietnam.
The last U.S. forces left South Vietnam in 1973. The US Embassy was evacuated and the last advisers pulled out in April 1975.
The cease-fire agreement in Vietnam, known as the Paris Peace Accords, was signed on January 27, 1973. This agreement officially ended direct U.S. military involvement in the Vietnam War.
Australia began exiting the war in Vietnam in 1970 and most all troops were out of the country by 1973. They did briefly send troops back in 1975 to help Australian embassy workers evacuate during the Fall of Saigon.
The last draft in the U.S. military was during Vietnam. The draft never really "stopped" because it was never really "going". It is simply a military policy that is enacted during times of need.
