People who were not considered fit for society, were taken from their homes and taken on caddle cars to a concentration camp. Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and many more. Many women and children did not survive the camps because they were killed immediately by being gassed. They were considered unfit for work. Those who were left after the selection were worked to death under harsh conditions. Those who survived were VERY lucky, and were eventually liberated by the Americans/Russians.
