For the longest time, Hitler hid his true colors, and was greatly respected. He was extremely good with words and convinced people of how disgusting and dangerous the Jews were, making the Germans hate them. Not all Germans had an option, and Hitler was in charge. He planted fear in people, so that his true followers would kill or torture anyone who defied him. People did and they were told to feed and protect their families.
