'Should' is just a constraint put on you by society, find the society that you want to live in, then you 'should' do what they want you to.

To feel constrained by what 'should' be done is what democracies have been fighting against before, during and after the Holocaust. Some totalitarian societies, like the Nazis or Communists will dictate what the people should do, should believe in and what/how they should remember things.

People who were in the Holocaust will never forget it, people who were not in it are not able to remember it.
