I am disabled. I received my 1st monthly benefit check 3 days after my birth date. Today, 12/1/11, I received my 2nd check for the same amount as my monthly amount, with "SOC SEC FOR INS" printed beside the amount. To be sure I could spend this check, I called 1-800-772-1213 and was told that my benefits payment date had been changed to the 1st of the month. Good timing too, 26 days early. Christmas came early for me so Christmas will be on time for my kids!

Merry Christmas everybody!
