His plays were easy for humans to connect to, they showed that humans were capable of many things whether it is something like love or hate or something special like the talent of art or writing. Also, Shakespeare learned to read and write from Latin and Greek texts and the the rebirth of classical learning is very important to the ideas and Humanism and/or human potential!
