He was a very wise man who wrote many famous sayings. Some are on the fortune cookies too. Confucius wrote five books which make up the Cannons of Confucianism and are accepted by all Chinese as part of their heritage. The books are: Chun Chiu (Spring and Autumn); Shu Ching (Book of History); Shih Ching (Book of Poetry); Li Chi (Book of Rites); and I Ching (Book of Changes). Anne of Cleeves was a strong Protestant. Catherine Howard was a protestant. Catherine Parr was also a strong protestant. ------ The Children ----- Edward was brought up a protestant, as was Elizabeth, but Mary was brought up a firm believer in the Catholic faith.
