The disadvantage of British education was that it created a sense of inferiority in the minds of Indians. It made us think that western civilization was better. We will also have more demand for British goods. British education made us the slaves of the British. It was like a poison which made us Indians in color and British in thoughts. Still have more demand for foreign goods other than Indian goods.
