La Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It was originally constructed as a small fortress in 889, then abandoned and ignored until its ruins were restored by King Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar, during the mid-11th century. It is now a museum and park.
Built in Granada around 1238, the Alhambra was home and fortress to the Moorish kings of the 12th and 13th centuries.
"La Marseillaise" is the national anthem of France.
