Many people were responsible for the murder of thomas beckett. you can't blame the knights because they were just cowardly enough to do it and not to question this "decision". the two main suspects were the king and thomas beckett himself. thomas beckett refused to listen to henry at all, so henry felt put out. beckett also decided to not listen to henry about "worshiping" him in a way.beckett only listened to god and the people that had strong beliefs that were to him right. But Henry was to blame as well because he just couldn't stand being ignored - he was an attention seeker. But he still had right to talk to beckett about his behaviour around this situation. Beckett just carried on to do things which were anoying Henry and it just built up into layers and layers of annoyance to Henry. So no wonder he popped, and wanted to get rid of Beckett. But overall I don't think that he meant all of this to turn into a murder. The person that was responsible for Becketts death was Beckett himself.
well the argument between them was about Henry making thomas becket the archbishop of cantubury and Henry thought that if thomas was made archbishop then thomas would follow all of henrrys rules and would help Henry by taking money from the poor and making himself even richer but what he didnt no was that when he made thomas archbishop he would betray him and when thomas did become archbishop of Canterbury he decided to help his people not his king .Henry then got really mad with thomas and said "will there be no rid of this troublesome priest?" and that's when four knights overheard him and decided to get rid of him once and for all and that is how becket died
He was very remorseful because many hsitorians think that he did not want Becket murdered. After Becket's death Henry paid penance and walked the streets topless and got whipped by monks to spare his sins.

Thomas Beckett has ties to King Henry II. Perhaps you are asking about Harry Beck who in 1931 developed the style of tube map we use today
Actually, King Henry II did not order the execution or assassination of Thomas a' Beckett. Henry was known to have a horrible temper, and in haste shouted aloud in the presence of his knights "Who will rid me of this troublesome Priest". Four of King Henry II's Knights took his words to mean he wanted Thomas killed; he actually did not literally want anyone to kill Thomas. ---- he didnt agree about the pope
Henry Kennedy from northampton xx he also goes to thomas beckett school for gays xx
it was because he had apparently killed Thomas Beckett and the pope thought he should pay for his sins
Thomas Beckett, or Thomas of London, promised to follow the constitution. He was appointed chancellor, and then changed his ways and no longer followed the constitution.
