Too many people. Sir Isaac newton did not propose that we all have gravity. Legislators did not propose that we all be free and self governed. Proposing new legislation is not the sole responsibility of a legislator. Repealing poorly written laws that attempt to accomplish that which they do not contain is another responsibility of your legislature. But your legislators are not the only ones proposing new laws. Propositional law has grown in popularity, activist judges want to legislate and haven't you ever heard anybody say in response to something they don't like; "They're ought to be a law against that"? Legislators did not invent the law that asserted murder is ill legal. Murder is wrong, because it abrogates and derogates the rights of the person that was murdered. This is the law. No one has the right to trample all over the rights of someone else or other people. This is not the law because a bunch of ancient white people in funny wigs made it law. It was always law and it will always be law. Too often today, what is proposed as law, is only plunder.
