That though she is the goddess of mother and children, she was almost always given to fits of rage and jealousy over Zeus' many lovers and she was very scornful and avengeful to the sons and daughters of such unions.

Hera was also the sister of Zeus. They fought a lot because Zeus would always cheat on her. Zeus had to turn into a little bird to seduce her into marrying him.

Hera was not the Goddess of marriage until after she got married.

she was known for love and beuty all though.... she wasnt the prettiest godess out there.Hera was also known for have fits of jealous rage over her husband zues's affairs.
